A video has been posted online showing the balance issues in Battlefield 2042. It shows the destruction of a tank with an M5 rocket launcher and an NWT-50 sniper rifle. The second method turns out to be almost twice as effective, which indicates an incorrect balance setting.
It took the player three shots and about 14 seconds to destroy the vehicle with the M5, while the NWT-50 takes out the tank in eight seconds and four shots. The user SheroxXx, who posted the video on reddit, emphasized that the sniper rifle is issued at level 60, and the rocket launcher is available from the very beginning of the game. Gamers noted that the rifles available at lower tiers allow you to deal with the tank in 16 seconds, which is almost as fast as the M5.
Battlefield 2042 was released on November 19. The title is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X / S. Earlier Cybersport.ru author Vyacheslav PilotBaker Ipatov tried out the shooter and shared his impressions in the review.
