
The Columbus Blue Jackets have hosted the Washington Capitals as part of the NHL regular season.
During the meeting, Alexander Ovechkin scored the puck and came out on to a clean fourth place in the list of the best NHL snipers in history, beating Brett Hull. Alexander currently has 742 goals.
The American forward congratulated Ovechkin on this achievement.
– Alex, congratulations on reaching the fourth place in the list of the best snipers. You have lived up to your nickname – the Great Eight. Keep going up this ladder. I wish you all the best, ”Hull turned to Ovechkin.
Wayne Gretzky holds the record for goals in the NHL (894), followed by Gordy Howe (801) and Jaromir Jagr (766).
