FromSoftware and IGN showcased the first 19 minutes of Elden Ring as well as the Margit boss fight. The videos were published on YouTube.
Earlier in the network there was a comparison of the graphics of Elden Ring with Dark Souls III. In the video, you can see that when creating the title, the studio used similar assets to animate the activation of spawn points, blocking with two-handed weapons, critical hits and even boss attacks. Differences can be seen only in the movesets of some weapons, as well as when riding – this is a new mechanic that was not in the games from FromSoftware. However, Elden Ring has smoother animations and updated visuals.
Elden Ring is an open-world action game that is closest in spirit to the Dark Souls series. The release of the game is scheduled for February 25, 2022. Earlier, some users started selling keys to the closed beta testing of the title.
