Square Enix and Luminous Productions have added a page for the game Forspoken, formerly known as Project Athia, to the digital Steam store. On it you can see the description of the title and its screenshots.
From the description in the store:
“Mysteriously leaving New York, Frey Holland finds himself in an amazing country called Atia. Frey unexpectedly discovers on his hand a magical adornment, endowed with the gift of speech, and also discovers a magical gift that can be used to travel across the expanses of Atia. Officially christening his new metal friend a bracelet, Frey sets out on the road, hoping to find his way home. “
The developers of Forspoken promise a “beautiful and brutal” open world, as well as a “rich arsenal of spells” that will suit different styles of gameplay – “from dynamic to rigorously thoughtful.” The game will also feature an “intuitive” magic-based parkour system.
The Forspoken release is scheduled for spring 2022. The game will be released on PlayStation and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
