Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev has become a semifinalist of the ATP Final Tournament, which takes place in Turin.
Earlier on Tuesday, Medvedev beat the representative of Germany, Alexander Zverev, and after two rounds has two points.
Later, Italian Matteo Berrettini decided to withdraw from the tournament due to injury. The Russian secured himself the first place in the Red Group, since Yannick Sinner, who replaced Berrettini, will not be able to get around Daniel.

Thus, Medvedev was the first to reach the semifinals of the competition.
The final ATP tournament will end on November 21.
