While AS Monaco have decided to part ways with Niko Kovac, Philippe Clement should succeed him on the sidelines.

This Thursday, AS Monaco dropped a bomb by formalizing the departure of Niko Kovac . Several names quickly filtered through for his succession, and Philippe Clement is now on pole to take the reins of the Monaco team. According to L’Équipe, full agreement has been reached on the arrival of the Belgian technician, currently serving at Club Brugge . AFP and RMC add that Philippe Clement should be present this Sunday in Rouen to attend the 16th final of the Coupe de France between Quevilly-Rouen (L2) and AS Monaco . The future former Club Bruges coach should commit to two and a half years with the Principality's club, once management has settled the final details of the dismissal by Niko Kovac .
