Particularly concerned by the CAN, ASSE would not take a dim view of its cancellation as explained by Loïc Perrin, new sports coordinator of the Greens.

Red lantern of Ligue 1 , ASSE is preparing to live a very complicated month of January since seven players could be affected by the CAN namely Denis Bouanga (Gabon), Wahbi Khazri (Tunisia), Saïdou Sow (Guinea), Harold Moukoudi and Yvan Neyou (Cameroon), or even Madhi Camara , courted by The Gambia and Zaydou Youssouf , by the Comoros. However, according to information from RMC Sport, a cancellation of the African Cup of Nations cannot be ruled out because of the Covid pandemic, which could do business for the Greens.

“I will not be disappointed by the cancellation of the CAN”

Present at a press conference on the occasion of the presentation of Pascal Dupraz , Loïc Perrin has also admitted that he would not be unhappy in the event of cancellation of the CAN which is to take place from January 9 to February 6. “There is nothing official for the CAN, but rumors are circulating. We have no specific information. It could change a lot of things. Personally, I will not be disappointed by the cancellation of the CAN, but I do not think that is the case for everyone ”, assures the new sports coordinator of ASSE .
