It has been several months since Roland Romeyer and Bernard Caïazzo put the ASSE on sale. The two Saint-Etienne bosses want to turn the page and for that, they are looking for a buyer. While this process will have taken a long time to begin, the outcome now seems near. Several candidates have come forward to take over the ASSE and before long we may well know the new strongman in the Forez. Who will he be? Today, there would be 3 or 4 projects to take over the ASSE from Roland Romeyer and Bernard Caïazzo . And among these candidates, we would find in particular a certain Mathieu Bodmer. As Footmercato explains, the former PSG player was appreciated during the summer by an investment fund to take over ASSE . This would therefore still be relevant and as explained by FM, Bodmer , accompanied by former OM president Jean-Michel Roussier , would indeed be in the race to take up the torch with the Greens.
