As an attacker, Jean-Philippe Mateta was announced as ASSE's priority for this winter. However, Pascal Dupraz may well have to look elsewhere.
This winter, the ASSE needs reinforcements to hope to escape and continue in Ligue 1 next season. At the head of the Greens, Pascal Dupraz is therefore looking for new blood for the month of January and one of the big projects is particularly at the forefront of the attack. To remedy this, ASSE would look to the Premier League. It was thus announced that option number 1 led to Jean-Philippe Mateta , the former OL player, currently on loan from Mainz to Crystal Palace .
The Mateta folder to forget?
ASSE wanted Jean-Philippe Mateta , but that might not be possible in the end. Indeed, according to the information communicated by Footmercato, this file would be too complex. With an agreement struggling to be reached on the payment of the salary, the Mateta operation is said to be cooling down for the ASSE . This may well require Pascal Dupraz to have to look into other offensive avenues.
