Appointed sports coordinator of ASSE, Loïc Perrin has had a series of meetings in recent hours after the dismissal of Claude Puel.

Former ASSE captain, Loïc Perrin has returned to his club as a sports coordinator. As the formation specifies in its press release, the former defender will be “under the direction of Jean-François Soucasse, Executive Chairman, and will work in close collaboration with Samuel Rustem, Deputy General Manager in charge of sports activities”. Perrin should therefore logically have a say in the succession of Claude Puel , laid off after the debacle against Rennes on Sunday (0-5 defeat). And while his appointment has barely been formalized, the former French international has already got to work.

Perrin asked Sablé to provide training

According to information from L'Equipe, Loïc Perrin held talks on Monday, in particular with certain members of the ASSE . The sports coordinator notably met Razik Neddar , in charge of the reserve, but also Laurent Huard , director of the training center, in order to consolidate them in their function. The daily also specifies that Perrin spoke with Julien Sablé to inform him that he would lead the training this Tuesday morning and that he will act as interim while waiting for the appointment of a new coach. There is no doubt that his opinion will count when electing a successor to Claude Puel .
