While the sale of ASSE is accelerating, a project emerges quite clearly, namely that led by Jean-Michel Roussier and Mathieu Bodmer. And for good reason, this would allow Bernard Caïazzo and Roland Romeyer to retain a role within the club of the drill.

In recent days, the process of selling the ASSE has taken a new turn. And for good reason, KPMG , an audit firm mandated to scrutinize all the applications, had closed access to the Data Room, before setting last Monday as the deadline for submitting offers. From now on, everything will go very quickly with a key date: November 23. “Anxious to see the file move forward, the shareholders gave KPMG the deadline of November 23 to complete its investigations and give its final conclusions on the quality of the files”, explained a press release published by the communication company of Patrick Oak Tuesday. A trend confirmed in the wake by Jean-François Soucasse. “The scenarios are simple, as of November 23, offers will be proposed, if they are accepted by the shareholders, we will welcome the future buyer and his project in the best conditions, I will assume this transition. If this is not the case, I work on a hypothesis where there is no buyer who arrives. The date of November 23 still makes it possible to have a buyer arriving before the winter transfer window, ”confided the executive president of ASSE at the microphone of France Bleu, confirming that“ there was offers ”, without however revealing the name of the projects in the running.

Romeyer and Caïazzo will remain at ASSE

And yet, the more time passes, the more a candidate seems to stand out. Indeed, according to information from BUT Football Club, the project carried by a fund based in Switzerland and which will rely on Jean-Michel Roussier and Mathieu Bodmer is now figure favorite. And for good reason, once is not custom, Roland Romeyer and Bernard Caïazzo are on the same wavelength. On the one hand, the two current owners of the ASSE are not convinced by the offer received from Olivier Markarian . On the other hand, the Swiss project in their favor, for a very clear reason: they will be able to keep a place in the organization chart of the ASSE . Roland Romeyer would recover the president of the Coeur-Vert association, while Bernard Caïazzo could keep a role with the authorities, in particular the LFP. Consequently, the project embodied by Roussier and Bodmer clearly seems to have gained the upper hand, making the hypothesis of a sale before the end of the year credible.
