This time, Claude Puel could not resist the defeat of the ASSE . Against Rennes , the French coach played his last game on the Stéphanois bench. Laid off, Puel therefore leaves its place among the Greens. But to whom? The search is underway at ASSE to find the new coach, but so far, the lucky winner has still not been found. Several names are coming back for this post, but no signature has been announced. And that might not be the case for a few days… According to the latest information from RMC, it is Julien Sablé who should be on the bench of ASSE against Reims this weekend. The former assistant to Claude Puel will therefore assume the interim while awaiting the arrival of the new coach. And concerning the successor of Puel , the Greens would obviously want to take their time. In addition, the ASSE would rely in particular on Loïc Perrin . Having barely returned to Forez as a sports advisor, he is at the heart of the decision-making process for the next coach.
