Eager to reunite with his family, the RB Leipzig player is said to be on the verge of returning to Catalonia. Trained at Masia, Dani Olmo regularly returns to the FC Barcelona. Performing under the colors of RB Leipzig , the Spanish player was watched by Ronald Koeman especially during the last summer transfer window. The Catalan leaders had tried to recruit the attacking midfielder in the last moments of the transfer session, but RB Leipzig had refused to release him. At FC Barcelona, Ronald Koeman has since given way to Xavi , but despite this change, interest in Dani Olmo remains intact. According to information from Mundo Deportivo, Xavi would have targeted his priorities and would particularly like to recruit a winger either during the next winter transfer window, or at worst during the summer of 2022. The new coach of FC Barcelona would monitor several profiles and in particular that of Dani Olmo , under contract until 2024 with the RB Leipzig .
