After several years of waiting, Xavi made his comeback at FC Barcelona to take over from Ronald Koeman. Andrès Iniesta would see himself following in the footsteps of his former teammate.
Six years after his departure from FC Barcelona , Xavi has made his comeback at his training club. The former Barça midfielder has taken over from Ronald Koeman on the bench of the blaugrana club after a first experience with Al-Sadd . The blaugrana club thus repatriates a legend of the club who had been awaited for many years. And others could follow.
Iniesta opens the door to a return
Indeed, in an interview with Catalunya Radio, Andrès Iniesta s' is positioned for a return to FC Barcelona : “I would like to come back to Barça in the future. I do not know in what form. I would like to help in a way other than playing ”. The duo Xavi – Iniesta which shone on the fields, could therefore be recomposed soon.
