However, the attacking midfielder would only accept a departure in England or Italy. Philippe Coutinho never met the huge expectations placed on him at FC Barcelona. The latter was one of the last supporters of the attacking midfielder and as Sport clarifies, Coutinho would have understood that his future was going to be complicated at the Blaugrana after the dismissal of the Dutch technician. In addition, upon his arrival, Xavi reportedly informed the 29-year-old that he was not counting on him so that Philippe Coutinho is preparing his departure as well as possible this winter. Still according to Sport, Philippe Coutinho would have set his conditions to leave FC Barcelona in January. The Brazilian would only accept a transfer to Premier League or Serie A . Nevertheless, a departure for Italy should not succeed, since only Juventus would be able to assume the salary of the attacking midfielder and the Italian club has shown no interest for Coutinho . The latter would no longer consider any departure to exotic destinations. Therefore, the Catalan daily assures that it would be more likely that the Brazilian's next club will be in England . Behind the scenes, Barça and the player's agents would do everything to find a solution in this case.
