While the negotiations for the extension of Sergi Roberto had collapsed a few weeks ago, they should resume very soon.
At the end of the contract on June 30, Sergi Roberto is currently heading straight for a free start from FC Barcelona right now. Negotiations should resume next week
Indeed, Mundo Deportivo indicates this Saturday that negotiations between Sergi Roberto and Barça should resume next week unless canceled at the last minute. Discussions will then resume from zero between the two parties according to the Spanish media, even if part of the way has already been done, namely the question of the reduction of his salary and the two-year duration of his new contract.
