Once again, FC Barcelona are looking for a new center-forward. Indeed, the early retirement of Sergio Agüero leaves no other choice for the Catalan club than to sign a new player in this sector as soon as the winter window of the upcoming transfers. It is with this in mind that Barça is announced in the footsteps of Edinson Cavani , him whose contract at Manchester United will expire on 30 next june. And while the English club would be ready to open the door to his departure, FC Barcelona would also be ready to facilitate his arrival. Indeed, MARCA specifies that Edinson Cavani would come to solve a problem in the short term until the end of the season, but the FC Barcelona would not rule out the idea of offering him a one-and-a-half-year contract, which would amount to granting his contractual request. It remains to be seen how the future negotiations between the two parties will unfold, but an agreement on the length of the Edinson Cavani lease may therefore not be long in coming.
