If his striker does not renew his contract with Barça in the near future, the Catalan president is said to be putting him on the shelf until the end of the season. At the end of the contract on June 30, Ousmane Dembélé wouldn't seem to be in a hurry to extend. According to the latest information from Mundo Deportivo, the French striker gave an initial positive response to FC Barcelona during a meeting held on September 21. But since that date, it would be radio silence on the side of the Dembélé clan. Fearing that Ousmane Dembélé would voluntarily play the watch, Joan Laporta would have decided to issue him an ultimatum. Indeed, the president of FC Barcelona reportedly made it clear to his number 7 that he had until the end of October to give him an answer. And if he does not respect this deadline, he could be put in the closet until the end of the season and his engagement, that is to say June 30.
