As FC Barcelona are said to be on the verge of formalizing the transfer of Ferran Torres after completing the arrival of Dani Alves, a third signing could drop off his bags this winter. During the last summer transfer window, Joan Laporta was forced to let go of Lionel Messi due to great difficulties financial. The debt of the blaugrana club then amounted to € 1.3bn as the president of FC Barcelona let it be known in mid-August. As a result, big budget cuts had to be made in the salaries of the first team players. This winter, departures could be made to continue this savings operation. Nevertheless, FC Barcelona would be active on the market in the direction of arrivals. Last November, FC Barcelona already secured the services of Dani Alves which was free from any contract since the termination of its lease with Sao Paulo in September. On Monday, the official transfer of Ferran Torres is expected. And according to SPORT, this operation is likely to lead to another. Internally, managers are said to be discussing which position to strengthen when Cadena SER recently confessed that a striker was desired by Barca.
