The recruitment of a center-forward has become a priority for FC Barcelona , especially since the retirement of Sergio Agüero . During the month of December, the Catalan club had explored the track Edinson Cavani (Manchester United) , but since then it has been relegated to the background in favor of ’Alvaro Morata . On loan from Juventus to Atlético this season, the Spanish striker would like to join FC Barcelona , but the Italian club would be reluctant to let go this winter. In an attempt to complete this file, FC Barcelona proposed an exchange to the Juventus . According to information disclosed by the Stampa, Joan Laporta offered the services of Memphis Depay to the Italian club, in exchange for those of Alvaro Morata . Arriving this summer in Catalonia, the Dutch international does not seem to be among the first choices of Xavi and could well leave FC Barcelona this winter. But this proposal was immediately rejected by Juventus.
