Mateu Alemany , executive director of FC Barcelona , recently announced: Ousmane Dembélé wants to stay in Catalonia. “Dembélé has always shown us his willingness to stay at Barça. We are at a key moment and we hope that before the end of the year this situation will be clarified, ”he explained. In the eyes of Joan Laporta , but also of Xavi , the extension of Dembélé, now at the end of the contract, is a priority. Still, an agreement is difficult to find when negotiating with the Frenchman's agent. Enough to give rise to certain fears in Catalonia, but everything could well end… Will extend, will not extend? Nothing is official yet for Ousmane Dembélé . Nevertheless, FC Barcelona wants to believe in this matter.
