Nevertheless, the Brazilian would have clear ideas for his future. Following the departure of Neymar in 2017, FC Barcelona had decided to bet on two players to replace him: Ousmane Dembélé and Philippe Coutinho. The latter has never really established himself within the Catalan club. In view of his performances, the Brazilian has also drawn the ire of fans. Now considered an undesirable within FC Barcelona , Philippe Coutinho could see his adventure soon end in Catalonia. But that should not happen this winter. As SPORT explains, Philippe Coutinho would not have no intention of leaving FC Barcelona during the next winter transfer window. Regardless of the Catalan club's willingness to sell him in January, the Brazilian should go to the end of the season. Barca's management are therefore expected to seek a win-win solution next summer. At that point, the 29-year-old attacking midfielder will only have one year left. It remains to be seen what FC Barcelona will decide during the 2022 summer transfer window.
