Long announced in the footsteps of Raheem Sterling to strengthen his attack, FC Barcelona would now have the firm intention of securing the services of Ferran Torres . The Spain international is even said to be a top recruiting priority for the Catalan club, starting this winter. Problem, Manchester City would not want to let the former Valencia CF player slip away in January as part of a loan as Barça would like , something which would therefore postpone the case until next summer. Only here, a transfer would not be easy for FC Barcelona . And for good reason, AS explains that the Catalan club are simply not able to spend what Manchester City claims to transfer Ferran Torres , namely € 70 million. This sum would even be the minimum amount claimed by the English club, which would consider that this figure is necessary to enroll a new winger thereafter. It remains to be seen how FC Barcelona will go about raising these 70 M € in a context where its finances are in the red.
