Analysis. According to the Catalan media ARA, some members of the management of FC Barcelona are campaigning for a transfer in January of Ousmane Dembélé, after the failure of yet another meeting between the two parties for a contract extension, the player's salary expectations being deemed too high, in order to prevent him from going free at the end of the season. Such a project has absolutely no chance of success for the simple reason that Ousmane Dembélé will never agree to be transferred six months after the end of his contract , while the prospect of an XXL contract is offered to him in June. For Barça, the only alternative for Dembélé is an extension or a free start at the end of the season.
