On the sidelines of the FC Barcelona squad, Philippe Coutinho is looking for a base to revive, while his leaders seem absolutely keen to get rid of him.

He is the biggest transfer in the history of FC Barcelona , but maybe even the biggest flop. Since his arrival in 2018, Philippe Coutinho has never seemed to be able to assert himself in Catalonia and his loan to Bayern Munich nothing has changed. In search of the slightest penny, the Barcelona leaders would absolutely like to get rid of Coutinho, with a salary of 23M € per year which weighs extremely heavily on the club's accounts. There are not many interested clubs, however, although the English press recently spoke of a return to the Premier League for the former Liverpool, which would be of particular interest to Arsenal.

Flamengo and Palmeiras fight for Coutinho

And why not a return to Brazil? According to SPORT information, Flamengo would be very interested in Philippe Coutinho and would like to find common ground with FC Barcelona fairly quickly, knowing that the start of the season is scheduled for January 10th. The problem remains the player's salary, since the Rio de Janeiro club would only be willing to support 3M €! Note that Flamengo is not the only Brazilian club interested, since Palmeiras would also like to strike a big blow with Coutinho.
