The Xavi era will truly begin in a few days, with his first game on the bench for FC Barcelona . It will be for the derby against Espanyol on November 20, before making his Champions League debut against Benfica the following Tuesday. The new coach of Barça has however already started to work to restore the image of his club and this will necessarily go through the transfer window … but also by the confirmation of members already in place! This is the case of Ousmane Dembélé, whose contract ends next June and who once again suffered an injury recently. The Catalan press has explained for several weeks that FC Barcelona would discuss with the entourage of the French, in order to find an agreement for the extension of his contract. According to information from AS, if the results are not yet seen, Xavi would continue to insist on Ousmane Dembélé. The Madrid daily assures that the new coach of < strong> Barça would have assured his leaders that the winger will be one of the pillars of his project, for years to come.
