FC Barcelona are said to be working behind the scenes on two winter signings for midfielder Xavi Hernandez's squad. Nevertheless, the Barca coach would not want any reinforcements in this post.
The FC Barcelona would go through a delicate financial situation, which would oblige the administration of Joan Laporta to find opportunities in the economically accessible transfer market. This would be particularly the case of Denis Zakaria , midfielder of Borussia Mönchengladbach where his contract will expire next June. Nevertheless, and although the position of midfielder would seem to be a priority axis of the winter recruitment of the president Joan Laporta, Xavi Hernandez would have another opinion on the matter.
Xavi would not want a midfielder this winter as Barça work on two rookies!
At least that’s what SPORT has revealed in the last few hours. According to information disclosed by the sports daily, Xavi Hernandez would meet regularly with the sports department of the club culé in order to keep a follow-up of the operations behind the scenes and to analyze potential offensives to be expected. Nevertheless, the FC Barcelona coach has reportedly told his officials that recruiting a midfielder was not necessary while the club has advanced their pawns for two separate loans.
