Free since leaving São Paulo last September, Daniel Alves has joined FC Barcelona more than five years after his departure.
FC Barcelona is rediscovering one of its legends. Eager to make his return to the Blaugrana, Daniel Alves managed to reach an agreement with the club, while he was free of any contract since his departure from Sao Paulo in September. Barça has not yet given the details of this operation but announced on its website that the 38-year-old right-back will not be able to make his debut until January due to the settlement of the FIFA . This will not, however, prevent Dani Alves from returning to training next week and reuniting with Xavi , his former teammate.
