It's been in the pipeline for several weeks now, it's now official. After thirteen years interspersed with a few loans, Lorenzo Insigne will leave Napoli. His contract ending next June, he has decided to leave European football to discover a whole new reality in MLS, at FC Toronto . The Canadian club announced this Saturday that Insigne has signed a four-year contract that will begin at the end of the one that binds him to Napoli and which ends on July 1. “This is a historic and exciting day for our club,” said Bill Manning, President, on the official Toronto FC website. “Lorenzo is a world class forward at the peak of his career.
