Not falling within the plans of Jorge Sampaoli , Dario Benedetto was invited by the OM to be find a new club during the last summer transfer window, and the Argentinian finally took charge of Elche in the form of a loan. However, the 32-year-old striker faces the same challenges in Spain, where he has scored just 2 goals in 15 appearances in all competitions. A situation that could encourage him to once again be active in the transfer market. According to information disclosed by TyC Sports, Dario Benedetto could return to his native country as early as January. Argentinian media say the striker’s return to Boca Juniors is starting to take shape as the two sides are said to be in talks to find an agreement. A start that Elche and OM would not take a dim view, not counting on Benedetto for this second part of the season.
