A return under the orders of Jorge Sampaoli was not at all topical, but a recent event could revive everything … Recently interviewed at the microphone of Téléfoot, Dario Benedetto revealed behind the scenes of his departure from OM last summer: “This season I understood that OM were not counting on me and the best decision was that I leave Marseille”, indicated the Argentinian striker, who did not enter into the plans of Jorge Sampaoli. Benedetto is therefore committed with Elche in the form of a loan with option to buy, and a final transfer for 4M € even seemed on the agenda at the end of season in this folder. But OM could finally have to deal with an unexpected setback… After the defeat conceded against at Betis Sevilla (0-3), Elche coach Fran Escriba was removed from his post this weekend.
