While the last summer transfer window was very agitated for OM in the direction of arrivals, Pablo Longoria took stock of various issues and confirms that four new operations are already planned for summer 2022 within the Marseille club.

It is a fact, despite relatively limited financial means, OM managed to strengthen considerably last summer and had welcomed no less than eleven new official recruits during this period. To do so, the president Pablo Longoria had notably increased the operations in the form of loans, and some of them are even accompanied by a purchase option available to the OM at the end of the season. Moreover, in a large interview with L'Equipe on Tuesday, the president of the Marseille club announced that several players will definitely become OM players at the end of their loan next summer.

Milik, Ünder, Guendouzi… OM will definitely recruit them

Pablo Longoria first take stock of the case Arkadiusz Milik , who landed in January 2021 from Naples on an 18-month loan and will become a OM playerfull party next summer: “Operation Milik has always been referred to as a complicated operation. But he is a player who, in the end, will be owned by OM, “said the Spanish manager. And Longoria displays a similar speech for Mattéo Guendouzi, Pau Lope z and Cengiz Ünder , recruited last summer in the form of a buyout loan: “Guendouzi and Ünder, it's linked to the maintenance. Pau Lopez, if he makes 20 appearances. These are practically automatic options ”. Clearly, OM already has four transfers scheduled for the summer transfer window 2022, and it will therefore be necessary to plan for large expenses for these different operations.

Sell this winter to replenish the coffers?

The president of OM has also specified in the same interview that he would seek to sell in January to recover cash : “By January, I must find economic resources to improve the workforce, with the assets that I have in the team. It can mean selling players and using the money wisely. The sale of a player can make a team stronger and ultimately erase its handicaps. I consider that we have already improved a lot of things last summer, but there is still work, “said Pablo Longori a. The tone is set for the next two periods of transfer window at the OM
