This winter, Olympique de Marseille and AS Roma could complete one of the big deals of the transfer window.
Pablo Longoria will have to find a solution for Boubacar Kamara. Trained at Olympique de Marseille , the 22-year-old is dangerously close to the end of his contract and doesn't seem to want to extend it at all. Next June he will therefore be able to spin for free, which would be a real blow to the Longoria project at OM . However, a new option seems to present itself with AS Roma ! The Italian press ensures that José Mourinho would like to recruit Kamara this winter and could in particular launch an operation comprising Pau Lopez and Cengiz Ünder , from of his former players currently at OM .
Roma have no money for Kamara
The task is not easy, however. According to information from La Gazzetta dello Sport, the cash registers of AS Roma would be completely empty, since the sporting director Tiago Pinto would have spent the entire transfer budget during the last summer transfer window and would therefore no longer have a penny for Boubacar Kamara. Thus, the only possibility of recruiting him in January would be for Olympique de Marseille to agree to release him from his contract, with on the other hand, a significant drop in the more than € 20 million due for the definitive buyouts of Pau Lopez and Cengiz Ünder .
