This is a rather strange situation. The only real left-back in the squad, Jordan Amavi no longer plays at Olympique de Marseille and Jorge Sampaoli has clearly opened the door to him for this winter. “Jordan or others have the right to look for a way out,” the OM coach explained at a recent press conference. “The important thing is that the player progresses, if we do not succeed maybe another team can help him. We will see what will happen with him or others during the transfer window ”. However, L'Équipe recently revealed that Sampaoli had validated the extension of Amavi last March, until June 2025. According to information from La Provence, there can be no turning back for Jordan Amavi. The latter does not seem at all to have convinced Jorge Sampaoli and the only solution would be to leave the Olympique de Marseille , perhaps even this winter.
