And there is no shortage of big names at the end of their contract. The Covid crisis has generated a new fad on the transfer market, namely free players. And for good reason, the pandemic has directly impacted the finances of clubs which often find themselves unable to extend their players at the same salary. Last summer, PSG took particular advantage by attracting Georginio Wijnaldum , Gianluigi Donnarumma , Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos without spending a single penny in transfer fees. FC Barcelona was not to be outdone with the arrivals of Memphis Depay , Sergio Agüero and Eric Garcia . And next summer, it should continue. And for good reason, many players see their contracts end on June 30, and not least. The most famous of them is Kylian Mbappé (PSG), but Paul Pogba (Manchester United) and Ousmane Dembélé (FC Barcelona) are also among the big names who will be free next summer.
