Aware of the interest of PSG for Theo Hernandez, AC Milan would have offered him a contract of around 3M € to extend. However, the French international would like to pocket at least € 1m more to re-stack with the Rossoneri.
Eager to bring competition to Juan Bernat at the left-back position, Leonardo would have liked to recruit Theo Hernandez during the last summer transfer window. However, the sporting director of PSG would not have succeeded in convincing AC Milan to let go of his French defender. While he finally recruited Nuno Mendes this summer, Leonardo would not have lost sight of Theo Hernandez. Indeed, the former Rossoneri leader would be excited by the idea of recruiting the French international in 2022. And knowing that AC Milan would try to extend Theo Hernandez, the PSG would not yet be out of the game on this issue.
The positions of Theo Hernandez and AC Milan still distant?
According to information from Calciomercato.com, AC Milan would have made a first offer to Theo Hernandez. For the Frenchman to renew his contract with the Rossoneri, who runs until June 30, 2024, Paolo Maldini would have offered him a contract up to € 3M per year, plus bonus. However, the Theo Hernandez clan would claim at least 1M € per additional year to initial a new contract with AC Milan. PSG can therefore keep hope on this record, at least for now.
