Barred by colossal competition within PSG, Sergio Rico is aware of no longer having a future within the club in the capital and has already shown his desire to leave as soon as possible. While he was acting as an understudy for Keylor Navas between 2019 and 2021, Sergio Ric o (28 years old) must now also deal with the presence of Gianluigi Donnarumma , recruited by PSG during the last summer transfer window . A reinforcement which therefore positions the Spanish goalkeeper at the rank of number 3 in the hierarchy of Mauricio Pochettino , and which therefore encourages more than ever Rico to leave PSG < /strong>. Asked last November by Mundo Deportivo, Sergio Rico publicly demanded his departure from PSG : “I want to stay in shape in case an opportunity arises on the winter market or later in the summer (…) I have already tried to leave this summer but it could not be the case. We must come to an agreement with PSG. At the moment, I have no offer. It’s still early days and going now, in the middle of the season, looks complicated ”. It remains to be seen whether the former Sevilla FC goalkeeper will find a buyer this winter on the market.
