In recent days, rumors have surfaced regarding the future of Leandro Paredes. The midfielder of PSG has nevertheless denied a possible departure to come, a trend which is confirmed.
After a complicated summer transfer window in terms of sales, Leonardo would like to make up for it next January. According to Foot Mercato, no less than seven players could indeed be affected by a departure, namely Sergio Rico , Rafinha , Mauro Icardi , Thilo Kehrer , Abdou Diallo , Layvin Kurzawa and Leandro Paredes . The latter, however, quickly denied the information to the Argentinian media TyC Sports, even adding that he was in negotiations with PSG for an extension of his current contract until 2023. A departure of Paredes seems unlikely
ESPN correspondent in Paris, Christian Martin indeed confirmed on Monday that it was unlikely to see Leandro Paredes leave PSG this winter. According to the journalist, the former midfielder of Boca Juniors enters the plans of Mauricio Pochettino and should thus remain in the capital. It remains to be seen whether the two sides can agree on an extension.
