Should we believe the evidence that Kylian Mbappe has no agreement in principle, or even oral, with Real Madrid? Analysis.

In its Thursday edition, L'Equipe reveals that PSG still has real hope of securing an agreement with Kylian Mbappe for a contract extension. The French daily adds that the PSG leadership relies for this on the fact that Mbappe have not taken any final decisions to date and have no agreement in principle with Los Blancos on the terms of a future contract or even a verbal agreement. What are we to make of this?

Why is no other big club taking a position?

If it appears entirely plausible and logical that no formal agreement exists between < strong> Kylian Mbappe and Real Madrid , it would still be surprising if the merengue club did not surround themselves with 'a minimum of guarantee on the future choice of the French striker. While Mbappe can legally sign a future contract from January 1, with a view to arriving at the end of June, it seems hardly conceivable that the framework for the discussion has not already been well defined between the two parties. Especially that it should be noted that no other big European club takes a position on Mbappe , while he is free at the end of the season… Rather surprising, unless one considers that the potential competitors have acquired the conviction that there was nothing more to be done on the file, that the matter was already closed.
