As Xavi Simons finds himself in the final year of his contract with PSG, the Barcelona-trained midfielder is said to be excited to return to Barca for the chance to progress under Xavi Hernandez.
Arrived at PSG in the summer of 2019 after leaving the FC Barcelona training center, Xavi Simons did not find his way into the first team of PSG as he wished. Last season, the 18-year-old Dutch midfielder was only seen with Mauricio Pochettino 's squad against Strasbourg last April . And while his horn will expire at the end of the season at PSG , Simons may well not extend it in order to find his training club.

And on the side of the PSG player, being able to return to Barça to evolve under the leadership would appeal to him much more than any other option.
