Interested in Mauro Icardi, Juventus would have offered PSG an exchange with Arthur Melo. But the operation will not see the light of day, in particular because of the Parisian leaders.
Leonardo has set himself a big goal. The sporting director of PSG would like, by the end of the season, to recover the sum of € 100m, notably by parting with players. And to believe the Spanish press, the Parisian club could well pocket 30M € from the next winter transfer window. According to Marca's information, PSG hope to recover this sum by separating from Mauro Icardi. But problem for the Parisian club, few teams seem to be interested in the Argentine striker, under contract until 2024 with the French formation.
Juve proposed an exchange to PSG
The only club which would have expressed an interest would be Juventus . Also according to Marca's information, the transalpine team have recently contacted the leaders of PSG to discuss a transfer of Mauro Icardi . During these discussions, the Old Lady would have notably proposed an exchange between the Argentine striker and Arthur Melo . But the Spanish daily reports that negotiations have ended after Leonardo called for a mandatory purchase clause. Bad news for PSG , which will have to seek a solution in this Icardi file.
