Appointed last summer as technical director of the PSG training center when he had worn the colors of the capital club for a year and a half, Yohan Cabaye unveils the decisive role of Leonardo in his big comeback. Passed through the ranks of PSG between January 2014 and June 2015, Yohan Cabaye (35) has never really succeeded in carving out a starting place for himself at the Parc des Princes. Eventually, the former international midfielder retired a few years later, and was surprisingly appointed technical director of the PSG training center last summer. Asked in the columns of the Parisian this Friday, Cabaye explains to what extent Leonardo played a decisive role in this appointment. “ Leonardo contacted me at the end of last season to find out what I wanted to do with my post-career. He offered me the project, and I was immediately blown away. The role I have been given is to take care of all the sports coordination, from pre-training to training. I must also have a global vision of all the teams for the future, with the one and only goal of developing as many players as possible and bringing them as high as possible ”, indicates Yohan Cabaye .
