An operation which would however still be far from being recorded. In the summer, PSG launched their transfer window with the free entry of Georginio Wijnaldum . A big blow while the Dutchman was expected at FC Barcelona . At 31, the midfielder was therefore supposed to densify the midfield of Mauricio Pochettino , but during this first part of the season, Wijnaldum especially disappointed. So much so that his adventure could already end there. Indeed, during this winter transfer window, the PSG rookie could pack his bags as he is announced in Serie A as well as in the Premier League. 6 months after leaving Liverpool, Georginio Wijnaldum could therefore return to England. And it's a club he knows very well that could welcome him. Indeed, it is announced that Newcastle would be interested in Wijnaldum , he who already played for the Magpies during the 2015-2016 season. Now held by the Saudis, the northern England club could therefore repatriate their former player. As explained by The Athletic, Newcastle would watch the situation of Georginio Wijnaldum from afar, but a return would be visibly unlikely. To be continued…
