Four months after the end of his soap opera and a few days away from having the opportunity to negotiate with the club of his choice for a free start, Kylian Mbappé spoke out on his situation and notably made a strong announcement on his future.
During the last week of the transfer window, Kylian Mbappé found himself at the heart of a soap opera that could have seen him leave. I said, if you don't want me to go, I will stay. “Despite everything, PSG rejected the offers of Real Madrid ranging from 160 to 200M €, even if it means taking the risk of seeing Kylian Mbappé leave free at the end of the season given the fact that his contract expires on June 30th. Moreover, from January 1, the PSG striker will be authorized to negotiate with the club of his choice in order to enter freely at the end of the season.
Mbappé will not be leaving this winter
Faced with this still uncertain situation, Kylian Mbappé spoke at the microphone of CNN on his situation, returning in particular to his transfer aborted at Real Madrid last summer. “I don't regret because I was honest. I'm saying what's on my mind. No one can say anything bad about it because it's a feeling, something personal. But of course I'm happy to stay, to play with Leo Messi and all the guys. Because it is also my city. […] I am happy and I want to win everything this season ”, he assures us before projecting himself on his future while Real Madrid is still making Kylian Mbappé its priority. “I'm at PSG, I'm happy, I'm going to finish the season 100%. I will give everything I have to win the Champions League, the championship and the Coupe de France. This is really not the time for me to talk about it. The only thing I have in mind is to beat Real Madrid in February and March. We are ready and I am ready to play and give everything for PSG, ”adds the French striker, who therefore delivers important information to know that he will not leave PSG this winter.
