While Kylian Mbappé seems to be heading towards a free departure from PSG, should Nasser Al-Khelaïfi consider the sale of the French international this winter, in order to recover a transfer fee?
In a few days, the Mbappé soap opera will take a new turn. Eager to slam the door during the last summer transfer window, the French international did not extend his lease with PSG since then and will be allowed to start talks with the club of his choice from January 1, with a view to a free arrival next summer. A situation that has not escaped the Real Madrid , which should quickly take action to complete this file which is close to the heart of Florentino Pérez for many years. If this scenario were to emerge, PSG would therefore not recover a cent for Kylian Mbappé, unless the capital club plans to open the door to a departure of its star from January.
A free start or a sale for Mbappé?
If the sale of Kylian Mbappé during the winter transfer window would be a big blow for the PSG in sport, the situation would be different financially. Indeed, the club of the capital could hope to receive a transfer allowance for its number 7, in a period when the management seeks precisely to replenish the funds and hopes to recover more than 100M € by the end of the season thanks to Sales. But for now, PSG would rule out any departure of Kylian Mbappé . As Marca explained on Monday, Leonardo and Nasser Al-Khelaïfi would be totally opposed to the idea of seeing Kylian Mbappé leave in January.
