While Real Madrid have failed in their plan to recruit Kylian Mbappé, Florentino Pérez has visibly slipped through his throat the abortive arrival of the 22-year-old PSG striker.

One year from the end of his contract at Paris Saint-Germain , Kylian Mbappé could have joined the < strong> Real Madrid during the last summer transfer window. The Madrid club had indeed taken action to enlist him by offering up to € 200m to the Parisian team. Only here, the latter has always closed the door, and Kylian Mbappé is therefore currently honoring the last year of his contract in the French capital. And a few months later, Florentino Pérez visibly retains a bitter memory of this soap opera as he protested against “clubs which belong to States” and who refuse to sell the players. And although he does not explicitly mention the PSG , the tackle addressed to the Parisian club has the merit of being quite clear…

“Now you give 200 million and they do not Don't sell them to you ”

“ We have to honor the contracts and we try to bring in good and best players. But you have to be prepared to pay them. Now you give 200 million and they don't sell it to you. When they finish their contracts it's better, but right now there is a madness of clubs that are state owned and don't sell you the players. I fight so that management is what matters, not the money you get from the outside. The time will come when the top 30 clubs in Europe will be owned by countries. This is not the principle of the European Community. I came here to fight and I have fought since my arrival, ”said Florentino Pérez in remarks reported by MARCA.
