While he could leave Juventus during the next summer transfer window, Matthijs de Ligt could settle down at PSG, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid or even Chelsea. According to the Italian press, the Dutch defender could sign a contract of around € 13-15m at his next club.
Under contract until June 30, 2024 with Juventus, Matthijs de Ligt could leave earlier than expected. As announced by Mino Raiola, the Turin defender could change clubs and join PSG, Real Madrid or FC Barcelona from the next summer transfer window. “I think we all know which clubs to mention for Matthijs de Ligt for his 'next step'. We will see this summer. (…) The Premier League? It could be Barcelona too, or Real Madrid or PSG … ”, Matthijs de Ligt 's agent told NOS recently. And while his departure from Juventus is still far from being recorded, the Dutch international has already set his salary requirements.
A contract of at least 13-15M € per year for Matthijs de Ligt?
According to information from Calciomercato.it, the Barça, which would forge privileged links with Mino Raiola, the PSG and Chelsea would be the big favorites to recruit Matthijs de Ligt. In the event of departure, the Dutch defender could initial a contract of 13 to 15M € per year minimum. At Juventus, Matthijs de Ligt would currently receive a salary of around € 10 million gross annually, plus bonus.
