Newly appointed to the post of coach of Aston Villa, Steven Gerrard explained his career choice.
The news was made official this Thursday morning: Steven Gerrard is the new coach of Aston Villa, currently 16th in the Premier League. On the official website of the English club, the former Glasgow Rangers technician gave his feelings: “Aston Villa is a club with a rich history and tradition in English football and I am extremely proud to become his new trainer. In my conversations with Nassef Sawiris, Wes Edens and the rest of the board, it was evident how ambitious their plans were for the club and I look forward to helping them achieve their goals.
