Dallas Stars head coach Rick Bowness expects more action, with and without the puck, from Russian striker Denis Guryanov when playing in equal squads.
Note that for the NHL regular season match against Winnipeg (3: 4 B) Bowness left the Russian in reserve.
– We cannot wait for a quick attack in overtime or a shot on touch in the majority. There is a lot going on in a five-on-five game. When one player drops out, the other four suffer. So when playing in equal compositions, we need a lot more from Denis both in actions with the puck and without it, – said Bowness.
This season in the NHL, Guryanov played eight matches, in which he scored one goal.
