American tennis player Sebastian Korda commented on the victory over Russian Aslan Karatsev in the first round of the Masters series tournament in Paris.
– I knew what to expect from Karatsev. It all came down to decisive moments. In the second set I had a lot of chances, but I didn't take advantage of them. In the end, the real battle began. Then I just got back the opportunity to realize break points and found a way to win, – said Korda.
In the next round, Korda will face the winner of the mast Marin Cilic (Croatia) – Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina (Spain).
